About the Event
The Agnes Spencer Memorial Hut is located at Grisedale Bridge in Patterdale in the Lake District. Ideally situated for climbing and walking in the Helvellyn massif, and offering good access to Keswick, Ambleside and the majority of the Lake District, it also makes a good staging point on the coast-to-coast walk. Small shops in Patterdale and Glenridding are able to provide supplies whilst there are also several nearby pubs – try the Royal Hotel at Dockray, the Travellers Rest in Glenridding or the White Lion at Patterdale.
